Flying Pigs concert a sellout

THE people of Ellon were left thoroughly entertained, after a special performance of the Flying Pigs at the Victoria Hall on Saturday.

The Doric comedy group’s performance was in addition to a BrewDog beer tasting and accordion performance, with compering by Cllr Rob Merson.

Spokesman Ian McKay said: “The evening was an outstanding success culminating in a brilliant solo display of accordion music by the Scottish Junior Champion, Gregor Allen.

“The Flying Pigs were generously provided by local businessman, Graham Mackie, of Dales Engineering, Peterhead. All money raised will go towards local Youth Projects.”
