BrewDog hosting a girls ‘lock-in’ for its new beer
The BrewDog girls.
Female members of staff from Ellon-based brewers BrewDog were invited to the birth place of the company to create a new product for consumption in their nationwide bars.
Fronted by employee Charlotte Cook, who was the lead brewer for the day on Monday, the girls got to work creating a beer that will be limited to 20,000 litres.
Speaking to the Times, Charlotte Cook said that she had approached James Watt, co-founder of BrewDog, with the idea of making a ‘girls beer’ who had approved it.
She added that the new beer, which will be a spicy, fruity alternative for those at one of BrewDog’s bars, would be available in about six weeks.
