Garioch Art Exhibition

THE Garioch Are Group is holding its 30th Annual Art Exhibition in Inverurie Town Hall (upstairs room).

The event will run from August 11 to 18 inclusive from 10am to 4.30pm with free admission.

The group meets in the Community Centre in Inverurie on Thursday evenings between 7.30 and 9.30pm.

It is a self-help group who enjoy painting together and supporting each other. The group has no formal tuition but on the first Thursday of each month one of the members runs a mini-workshop.

Once or twice a year the group organises workshops for the members to teach new skills or enhance old ones.

The orgainsation has members whose painting styles and experience are very diverse, from novice to proficient using different media.

The group always welcome new members.
