A NEW Jazzercise dance-fitness class will get under way in Ellon next week.
The classes will be held in the town’s Victoria Hall on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10am, and in Ellon Community Centre on Tuesday evenings at 7pm.
Jazzercise instructor, Claire Murray said: “I’m excited about the growth of Jazzercise locally.
“Jazzercise offers a unique blend of fitness and dance that many Aberdeen and Shire residents have already discovered.
“These classes will introduce a new programme to Ellon and give participants the opportunity to enjoy a workout where the non-competitive atmosphere makes it easy for people of all fitness levels to participate, with instructors demonstrating both challenging movements and low-impact variations.
“Most importantly, Jazzercise classes are designed to be fun.”
Jazzercise is a fusion of dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, and kickboxing.
Benefits include increased cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility, as well as an overall “feel good” factor.
