A YOUNG Ellon woman is taking the expression ‘hands-on-approach’ very seriously, as she sets out to establish her own nailcare business in the town.

Nicole Smith has recently founded Neroli Nails at The Nail Extension in Ellon’s Business Centre, with the stated aim of giving the ladies of Ellon and District nails to remember.

Speaking to the Times, Nicole said that she had been prompted to start her business after receiving a poor manicure herself.

“I got my nails done while I was at college studying a Business and Administration course, and really wasn’t impressed with the results. I thought to myself, ‘I can do better myself!’ I discovered I had a talent for it, and have pursued it ever since.

Nicole completed qualifications in manicure, pedicure and gel-extension last August, and is now offering professional nail services and treatments.

“I only use high-quality products,” she told the Times. “I take client’s preferences very seriously, and aim to give them exactly what it is they’re looking for.”

She added that she was enjoying her new job.

“I get a lot of job satisfaction,” she said. “It gives me the chance to do something I love for a living, speak to my customers and provide a service my customers can be happy with and I can be proud of.”

Nicole offers a range of special offers just now, so there’s never been a better time to make your hands look great! Just mention the Ellon Times, or hand in one of Nicole’s leaflets to claim a 10% discount on most treatments or £5 off treatments over £40.
