Pitmedden Community Music Festival

THE Pitmedden Community Music Festival will take place on Friday, June 22, and Saturday, June 23.

Performances and events taking place are as follows:

Friday, June 22: Tarves Folk Club & Friends, Modhan Celtic Band from 7-10pm. Tickets cost £6 for adults; £3 for concessions and Secondary School children, and free for P7 and under.

On Saturday afternoon, June 23: Music in the Garden; from 12 noon to 3pm with the Garioch Fiddlers (Juniors), Blyde Lasses, SC&T, Newhills String Quartet, and others. T in the Tent takes place from 3- 5pm with the Garioch Fiddlers, Ellyn Oliver, and The Four Doxies Jazz Band. Tickets are free at the door.

On Saturday evening, June 23, Barbecue, Blues & Rock from 6 - 9pm featuring The Marti Sutherland Band with Ellyn Oliver. Tickets cost £6 for adults; £3 concession and Secondary School children, and Primary 7 and under are free. The Barbecue will run from 5pm on Saturday.

The Gardens are located on the A920, one mile west of Pitmedden village and 14 miles north of Aberdeen.
