Still time for readers to win prizes in our DAWGS competition!

THERE’S still time for Times and Herald readers to enter our DAWGS competition, and pick up some fantastic prizes for your canine friends!

The competition deadline has been extended to January 28, so there’s another week to send in the best photos of your pooches and take away a selection of goodies donated by local pet companies.

Since starting out, DAWGS have helped over 2,000 dogs and puppies in Aberdeen City and Shire find a loving home. DAWGS only receives help and funding from the public and its volunteers. Donations are used to cover costs including veterinary care, administration costs, occasional kennelling, rent, fundraising costs and other activities involved with running the charity.

In order to raise awareness of the charity, we want you to enter a picture of your dog in to one of these two Categories: Best Rescue Dog and Cutest Canine.

If you’d like to enter your dog for Cutest Canine, add a few sentences about him or her and perhaps a couple of their cutest or funniest moments. If you enter your dog for Best Rescue Dog, make sure you tell us a little bit about how he or she became a hero!

The winning dogs and their owner will receive prizes, kindly been donated by local companies keen to help the charity.

How to enter:
Send a picture of your dog, its name, the category its entering and a few words about them in an email to: dawg.entries@outlook.com
Include your contact details so we can contact you if you win. Send your entry by January 28.
