The North-east is to play host to the first two Scottish dates on a devilishly new UK tour by American comedian Reginald D Hunter.

His new show, Sometimes Even the Devil Tells the Truth, supported by special guest Steve Hughes, will be staged at Eden Court in Inverness and the Music Hall in Aberdeen on Saturday and Sunday, October 1 and 2 respectively.

In the past 10 years, Reginald has become one of the UK comedy industry’s best-known and most distinctive performers. He is one of the few performers to have been nominated for the highly coveted main Perrier Award in three consecutive years and has become a well-known face on primetime television shows such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Live at the Apollo, Argumental, Would I Lie To You, QI and Have I Got News For You.

Reginald will be supported by Steve Hughes, who is now widely regarded one of the most exciting stand-up comedians working on the UK and international circuit. A chain smoking, beer swilling, plain talking Australian, his real passion is the topical, political and intellectual – delivered in a frequently provocative manner.

Tickets for the Inverness show on Saturday, October 1, are available at www.eden-court.co.uk, or by phoning 01463 234 234, while tickets for the Music Hall show on Sunday, October 2, are available at www.boxofficeaberdeen.com, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre.
