Youth project set for activity weeks

The Formartine Youth Project is set to host two separate weeks of activities across the four villages.

The first will provide fun and engaging activities for teenagers and this takes place next week with the youth project tour.

The tour will kick off in Tarves on Tuesday, July 28. Then it will visit Methlick on Wednesday, July 29 and Barthol Chapel on Thursday, July 30. The final stop for the youth project on tour week will be Pitmedden on Friday, July 31.

Across the villages there will be the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun activities, enjoy some food and socialise together.

For younger children, the youth project are holding the free kids club from Tuesday, August 11, until Friday, August 14. This is suitable for all primary school children including the new P1’s and old P7’s.

This year the kids club will be held in Pitmedden Church and throughout the week it will run from 10am to 12pm.

There will be a variety of activities including games, crafts and singing.
