The Bennachie Art and Craft Appreciation Society is presenting its Annual Exhibition at Oldmeldrum Town Hall, from Thursday, June 18 to Sunday June 21.

The exhibition will open daily from 10am till 4pm, and entry is free.

The Society was founded in 2007 by a group of friends to further their interest in art.

Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month at the Catholic Church Hall in North Street, Inverurie, at 7pm.

There are talks and demonstrations on a regular basis covering a wide range of arty aspects, occasional outings to places of interest, and day workshops.

On Monday mornings some members join an informal painting group in Oldmeldrum Town Hall. This group is open to anyone.

Mitchell’s Dairy in Inverurie offers monthly exhibition space in their cafe to any artist. This is administered by Claire Hughes, a member of BACAS, and anyone interested in exhibiting should contact Claire at 8bacas8@gmail.com.
