Some new volunteers took time out of their schedules on Easter Monday for a beach clean at Forvie Nature Reserve.
The nature reserve saw around 11 volunteers and three staff members eager to pick up as much rubbish as they could grab.
Manager of the Nature Reserve, Annabel Drysdale, said that the turnout was not bad.
She said: “There is a couple who have been here before but this quite a different crowd and it’s good to see some new faces.
“We sometimes get help from corporate bodies which helps to boost our numbers too.
“We welcome volunteers of any age and ability.”
Forvie hold two beach cleans a year with the next one taking place in September.
