Clydesdale Bank has unveiled its newly-upgraded branch in Inverurie.

The improvements to the branch, which is based at 26 West High Street, are part of a £45 million investment programme by the bank to upgrade facilities to meet changing customer needs.

The programme includes a UK-wide programme of branch relocations and refits plus improved and new mobile and internet banking services.

The branch has undergone a complete redesign and now houses an open plan banking hall, a new reception area, three counter positions, two open consultation positions and three private interview rooms.

Kevin Strathdee, bank manager, said: “We are delighted with our newly formatted branch which underlines our commitment to Inverurie. While customers expect us to deliver flawless service, we also want them to have an enjoyable place to do their banking.”

Steve Fletcher, retail banking director, said: “While customers’ needs are changing and we are delivering new services to meet them, branches continue to be a really important part of how we ensure customers have a great banking experience with us.

“This is a fantastic new format branch in Inverurie and we’re looking forward to continuing to serve the local community from our modern new home.”

The Inverurie branch is open from 9.15am to 4.30pm from Monday to Friday, and 9.15am to 1.15pm on Saturday.
