Protesters against the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route have suffered a blow, after a decision by judges in Scotland’s top law court to dismiss their appeal against allowing the route to proceed.

The Court of Session announced their decision on Wednesday morning to reject the appeal, made by William Walton on behalf of the RoadSense pressure group.
