A new head chef has been appointed by Highland Cuisine at the Thainstone Centre, Inverurie.
Steven Hay will have responsibility for all its food operations.
Steven, 43, has already introduced a new menu for the centre’s flagship Porterhouse restaurant and is overseeing the catering for the company’s internal and external
events and functions.
He has a highly experienced background in the catering industry and previously worked at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre; the Britannia Hotel; the Altens
Skean Dhu and the Maryculter House Hotel.
Steven, who lives in Inverurie, said: “I have already been impressed by the different mix of work here and I want to make sure that all the food areas in the centre are running successfully.”
Louise Divarquez, the manager of Highland Cuisine, said the new chef was an excellent addition to the team and had already enhanced the dining experience for guests.
She added: “His calm nature and great leadership is already benefitng our young chefs in training and he can cook everything from a great mince and tatties to a perfect Chateaubriand.”
