The re-opening of an ice cream parlour in Collieston went off without a hitch to the delight of its new owners.

Smugglers Cone re-opened for business on Saturday, June 3 and customers couldn’t wait to try the tasty treats on offer.

Christine Graham has taken over the running of the parlour from former owner Nicole Bell, who went along to the opening at the weekend.

Nicole helped to transform the former beach shelter into an ice cream parlour back in 2013.

Speaking after the opening, Christine told the Times: “All went to plan perfectly and everyone was so welcoming and friendly.

“Lots of people mentioned they were delighted with the transformation we have made and will be making a regular visit to try all our new products out.”

Christine added: “It feels like home already and doesn’t feel like work at all with the stunning location, it’s quite therapeutic actually.”
