A popular Collieston ice cream parlour is set to reopen this Saturday (June 3).
Smugglers Cone has been taken over by Christine Graham from former owner Nicole Bell, who orignially transformed the former beach shelter into an ice cream parlour in 2013.
Speaking to the Times Christine said: “Nicole worked closely with the community to establish this fantastic tourist attraction to the village of Collieston.
“We have worked closely with Nicole in the last few weeks with the handover of the business and look forward to meeting everyone who has supported this business over the last few years.
“We are very excited about the reopening of Smugglers Cone this weekend and look forward to growing the Smugglers Cone family.”
Christine added: “I am very excited to take Smugglers Cone Ice Cream Parlour on a new adventure with some new machines.
“We are now able to offer Espresso Coffee varieties, a brand new Slush machine and a further selection of frozen Ices too.
“We are continuing with the delicious Italian Ice cream supplied by Rizza’s of Huntly which will include a mouthwatering selection of free toppings to suit all the family.
“I am hoping with the addition of my own clientele for my other Beauty business of ChrissyG Beauty, which I have ran successfully from my home salon since 2012, we can continue the success and increase awareness of this little gem in Collieston.”
