Formartine’s near Tarves has been announced as the venue for Grampian Food Forum’s latest Dining Club event to be held on Monday, September 24.
The Grampian Food Forum is a partnership comprising senior members of the food and drink industry in the North-east and the main development agencies in the area.
The Forum advises public sector organisations on the needs of the food and drink industry so that programmes and projects can be put in place which are focused on the actual needs of the industry.
It provides an opportunity for companies from different sectors to learn from each other and to exchange ideas.
The Dining Club is an initiative aimed at promoting greater use of local produce in the region’s hotel and restaurant menus.
Formartine’s, which recently achieved “Gold” in the Green Tourism Business Scheme, is a joint partnership between John Cooper, who owns The Smokehouse in Methlick, and Lord and Lady Aberdeen, proprietors of Haddo Estate.
Tickets are £35 per person. More information is available from www.grampianfoodforum.co.uk
