The Beaton Hall in Methlick will open its doors this weekend for a fundraising event.
On Saturday, October 11 from 7.30-10pm the community are invited to attend and support a Cheese and Wine Evening.
The fundraising committee has overseen the long overdue refurbishment of both the male and female toilets but the result has been well worth the wait.
Now that the renovations are complete, funds need to be boosted in order to complete further improvements and maintain the property.
The Beaton Hall is well over 100 years old having been built in 190.
During this time it has served the community very well.
The hall is used for a variety of activities including badminton, keep fit, local heritage, cricket club events as well as for parties, weddings, concerts and dances.
These clubs will also be along showing their support for the event by running various stalls on the night and organisers are calling on the village to show their support for the hall.
There will also be an opportunity to meet the new Hall Keeper - Pauline Connon.
Tickets are £10 which includes two glasses of wine and £5 for children including two soft drinks. Ticket price includes a finger buffet too. Buy yours from French’s Shop or committee members.
