A Collieston artist’s work is to go on show at a top exhibition.

Paolo Doyle will feature alongside some of the UK’s leading watercolour painters.

The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (RI) exhibition will be on display at Mall Galleries between April 6 and 22.

This year 1,000 works were submitted to the London showcase.

Paolo said: “It is a great honour to have my painting “Crossing the River Gambia” selected for this prestigious exhibition.

“I am really excited to see the painting hanging in Mall Galleries.”

The RI, founded in 1831, holds an open submission exhibition in central London each year.
