Aberdeenshire Council have a new head of resources and performance management in education and children’s services.
Craig Clement, currently Angus Council’s service manager, was selected by the authority’s Appointments Committee at a recent meeting.
Before serving Angus Council for nearly twenty years as a senior education manager, Mr Clement was principal accountant at Tayside Regional Council. As a member of the senior management team for a large public service he has successfully delivered integrated and efficient services to meet the needs of citizens.
Appointments Committee chair, Councillor Jim Gifford, said: “We are delighted to welcome Craig to Aberdeenshire Council. The skills and experience he brings to the table will ensure the senior management team within Education and Children’s Services continues to provide the very best for children and their families across Aberdeenshire.”
Education, Learning and Leisure Committee chair, Councillor Isobel Davidson, added: “Craig’s knowledge and extensive experience will be invaluable to Aberdeenshire Council, we look forward to working with him and wish him all the best in his new role.”
