Ellon couple John and Caroline Doherty have raised £633 for Peterhead Relay for Life’s HK2 team from the sale of hand-made Christmas wreaths.

The couple, who lost their son to cancer ten years ago aged just 39, sold the wreaths at the Ellon Farmer’s Market on Saturday, November 26 , selling out in just two hours.

John constructs the wreaths from scratch inside his shed in their garden, while wife Caroline creates various bows and adds the final touches.

Wreaths are still available by calling 07548 173460.
