If you do, why not nominate them for recognition under the 2014 Aberdeenshire Design Awards.
Categories include Housing, Business, Conservation, Landscape Design, Sustainability, Craftsmanship and Public Art.
Nominations have to been in by Friday, February 21,
Projects accepted can include anything from a new-build, regeneration, conservation, restoration, conservation to an extension.
Early judging will be held in April, before more decisions in July, with the winners being announced at a ceremony in September.
Held every two years, the awards aim to encourage excellence and innovation across the North-East.
Judges at this year’s event include the chair and vice-chair of Aberdeenshire Council’s Infrastructure Services Committee (ISC), Infrastructure Services Director and six external professional advisors.
The panel will award three levels ranging from Distinction, Highly Commended to Commended for each award.
Judge, ISC chair, Councillor Peter Argyle said: “Aberdeenshire is home to some truly innovative approaches to construction and renovation project.
“The awards serve as a great way to inspire others considering projects in the area.”
Committee vice-chair Councillor Alan Buchan added: “I would encourage people to step forward with their nominations and help highlight examples of best practice across Aberdeenshire.”
