Marie Curie thanks pupils

ELLON School pupils hand over a cheque for £484 to Marie Curie Cancer Care representative Carolyn Snedden, which was raised after the youngsters took part in a sponsored daffodil-growing.

The winners of the pot decorating competition also received prizes for their efforts, and will see the pots entered into a regional competition which could net stationary vouchers for the school.

Speaking for Marie Curie, Carolyn told us: “This money will pay for three nights worth of care for our patients, so many thanks to the pupils for their hard work.”
