Meiklemill Primary were busy holding a health week in the theme of the commonwealth games.
During the week the pupils took part in various activities including a skipping challenge where students attempted to skip 2014 times, a football session with an Aberdeen Football Club coach and a technology challenge, making a Commonwealth Baton which had a light-up system and message inside from each group.
Walk 2014m was completed by the P1–P6, with the children walking round the Gordon Park.
The PE teacher focused on Touch Rugby with the children and a SSPCA officer talked to the classes about being caring towards animals.
To top off the week’s activities, the school’s Macmillan Coffee Morning raised a whopping £810.
