Meiklemill Primary Concert a richt gweed show!

YOUNGSTERS at Meiklemill Primary gave a sterling performance for the benefit of parents and friends at the school’s annual ‘Scottish Concert’ on Thursday.

Youngsters entertained visitors with a selection of singing, Highland Dancing and traditional Scots music in the school’s assembly hall. Pupils performed songs with a Scots theme including ‘Auld Lang Syne’, ‘Dark Island’ and ‘Donald Whaur’s Yer Troosers’ on a seclection of instruments including fiddles and viola, clarinets and recorders. There was also a piece from the Academy’s Ceilidh Band.
