PUPILs at Tarves Primary got on their bikes on Tuesday in a pre-emptive celebration of Sports Relief.
Pupils took to their cycles in a one mile trip, taking them around the school grounds around eight times under close supervision from teachers and the P3/4 organising team.
The event raised around £150, with pupils donating £1.50 a head to good causes which will benefit from Sports Relief.
Teacher Claire Gauld told the Times: “They’ve absolutely loved it. It’s been something a bit different for them, and the P4-7s will be taking part next week.”
Headmistress Heather Scott added: “The event has been organised by the P3/4s. They’ve been very well organised, and done an excellent job,”
