A YOUNG Pitmedden mother of two has successfully combined parenthood and studies to secure her degree from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University.
Cherith Chamberlain, 24, graduated with a Masters in Pharmacy degree with distinction at a ceremony held in His Majesty’s Theatre last Thursday.
Cherith, mum to Anise and Harriet, said: “A major highlight of the last five years has definitely been finding out in June that I had passed my Masters with distinction despite my extra commitments as a wife and mother.
“I was always interested in the healthcare professions, partially because my mum is a nurse, and even at a young age wanted to pursue a family-friendly career and pharmacy seemed to fit that description.”
She will now begin her pre-registration training in Peterhead and aims to become a community pharmacist.
