AN ELLON couple’s Christmas lights have been catching the eye in their front garden.
Mike and Pat Dey have featured their first festive display for several years - much to the delight of local people.
The couple, who stay in Esslemont Close, decided that three-year-old grand-daughter Shelby should perform the switch-on to mark the return of their colourful display.
Pat said: “We get quite a lot of people coming down to look at the lights and it’s nice for the young kids to see.”
Husband Mike, who is retired, arranged the lights in about three hours - but admitted it would take much longer to take them down and store.
The lights are normally on between 3.30 and 10pm.
