During the year, the Club was entertained by 22 different speakers covering a variety of topics, with visits to Aberdeen Harbour Control and Aberdeen BBC Studios, much enjoyed by members.

The principal new committee members are: President - Alistair Sinclair; Vice President - David Couzin; Secretary - Norman Davidson; Treasurer - Duncan Milne; Convener of Speakers - David Crosely.

Incoming President Alistair Sinclair thanked ex-President Joe for a sterling year’s work, while Treasurer Duncan reported that the Club was financially sound. In the Secretary’s Report, appreciation was expressed for the efforts of retiring Convener of Speakers, Alan Barker, in being able to provide 22 speakers for last year’s meetings. President Alistair advised that the Probus Club is not exclusive, and is always open to new members. The next meeting is at 10am on November 10 at Ellon British Legion.
