A FORMER Ellon Academy pupil who has excelled in her pursuit of opera singing has won representation by a leading industry agent.

Soprano Eleanor Dennis was approached by three different agents following her performance in Mozart’s Cosi fan Tuti as Fiordiligi, eventually settling for representation by Askonas Holt, who represent many of the worlds top operatic performers.

Eleanor began singing at the age of five at Haddo House and, always a keen performer, she was soon regularly appearing on the stage playing roles such as Maria in West Side Story, Yum-Yum in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady.
