Exciting week ahead for Ellon art group

Riverview Krafty Art Group in Ellon are currently displaying ‘Art in the Garden’ as part of the North East Open Studioes (NEOS).

The exhibition continues from Thursday, September 11 until Sunday, September 14 at 36 Castle Road, Ellon from 11am to 4pm.

A vast range of items will be for sale

Three studios including a sunroom, potting shed and Grandad’s shed exhibit work from eight local artists and crafters.

Entry is free to the event.

Pyrography demonstrations will be held by Val Hudson, arts and crafts for sale include fashion jewellery by Maureen Singer, wood turning by John Gordon, knitting by Janet Cowie and paintings by Sheila Noble and Enid Smith.

Sandy Cowie will be present at certain times demonstrating how he turns many of his paintings and photographs into greeting cards.

Group chairman Barrie Seddon will also be on hand displaying his paintings.
