An afternoon tea and fashion show has raised around £6000 for an Aberdeenshire company’s four chosen charities.

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Harbro Ltd is aiming to raise £40,000 for Kidney Kids Scotland, JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), British Heart Foundation and North-east based CLAN through various initiatives.

The recent event at Meldrum House Hotel, attended by nearly 200 women, showcased clothing from Harbro, Fashionista of

Oldmeldrum, and Gibbs Menswear, Inverurie.

Harbro managing director Graham Baxter said support had been overwhelming and with the anniversdary ball in May, they were confident of achieving their target.
