Final line-up for Gig at the Brig complete

The final line-up for Ellon’s Hogmanay party Gig at the Brig was recently announced.

The Gig at the Brig is now in it’s third year and is organised by Ellon Events, with J M Taylor as the main event sponsor.

The opening set will be played by newly formed all girl four piece band, TRACE.

All members of the band are Ellon Academy pupils and will be sponsored by the town’s Skin Deep Music School.

Owners of the Music School Ian and Jayne Brown are delighted support local talent and the popular event.

Other acts in the event are Uniform and Take This and headliners Big Country.

A spokesperson for Ellon Events said: “We are delighted to have completed a line up that we think will prove to be a winning combination.

“The event is family friendly and we have a range of music to appeal to diversified tastes.

“We expect the busiest Gig at the Brig to date.

“We are delighted that the Gig at the Brig has proven to be such a success and we are proud of the local businesses who help, support and sponsor the gig. J M Taylor have been invaluable as the main event sponsor for the second year running.”
