An Aberdeenshire farm store has teamed up with a champagne restaurant and bar as part of Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival.
The Store in Foveran has supplied the Pommery Champagne Café Bar, located in the capital’s historic Signet Library, with award winning Aberdeen Angus ground beef to make their burgers for guests to enjoy while sipping their champagne.
The champagne restaurant, which runs throughout August while the festival takes place, was a sell out last year.
The Store’s meat for the burgers, is a new addition to the menu and is already proving to be a favourite with customers. Launched in 2000, The Store has a passion for high quality, local produce. The family-run farm and store is owned by Andrew and Debbie Booth.
Mr Booth, said: “We are really happy that our meat is going down well with festival goers. We always strive to offer our customers only the best quality.”
The Store is open everyday, from 10am-5pm.
