Gight Planting volunteers sought

YTHAN Project Volunteers are looking for volunteers to help them do some hazel planting at Gight woodland on Sunday, February 17.

This work will be carried out in conjunction with Forestry Commission Scotland. On the day, clumps of hazel will be planted in groups to diversify the present woodland. Families and individuals are most welcome to attend and children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Refreshments will be provided, but please bring your own lunch. Please wear stout footwear, old warm clothing and work gloves. If you have your own spade please bring it along otherwise all other tools and equipment will be provided.
