J-A-C-K (Joining Against Cancer in Kids) and CLIC Sargent are organising a Charity Event to take place in the Library of Haddo House on Sunday 28th August between 2 and 4.30pm, in aid of children with the neuroblastoma cancer
Afternoon tea will be served in the Library where an array of both Vintage and new handbags will be on display. The handbags are being put into an open auction, where ladies are invited to write down their bids, with the highest bidder on each handbag being the winner. During the afternoon, soprano Maureen Bell will be entertaining those with a rendition of lovely songs from a period past.
Organisers have some very special items for bidding - a Gucci handbag purchased on the Via Condotti in Rome, a Radley handbag and a Louis Vuitton handbag, all very kindly donated. They also have rare handbags made from crocodile and ostrich leather.
Raffle prizes include vouchers for meals in both Aberdeen and local restaurants to a bottle of Scottish Parliamentary bottle of whisky signed by the First Minister.
Entry costs £7.50 per person. For tickets please contact either Sylvia Koren on 01358 720550 or Jo Robinson 01224 288960. Tickets are also on sale at the Ellon Times Office.
