Nominations are now open to an event which recognises the talents of youngsters, staff and communities throughout Aberdeenshire.
Inspiring Aberdeenshire will be held at Haddo House in June and nomination forms for the awards are available for download now from Aberdeenshire Council’s website.
The annual event which is in its third year has over ten categories including ‘Best of’ for Banff and Buchan, Buchan, Formartine, Garioch, Kincardine and Mearns and Marr.
Chair of Aberdeenshire Council’s Education, Learning and Leisure Committee, Councillor Isobel Davidson, said: “There are a lot of great things going on across Education and Children’s Services and we are lucky that there are so many talented and enthusiastic people living and working in the area.
“I look forward to seeing this year’s nominations as they come in.”
Other categories include the Extra Mile Award for staff, Aberdeenshire’s STAR Award, Outstanding Leader of the Year Award, the Provost’s Award and the Director’s Award.
Nomination forms can now be found online at aberdeenshire.gov.uk/education/InspiringAberdeenshire.asp.
People can nominate a person or group for an award and forms should be submitted by Tuesday, January 16 2015 to email@example.com.
