Members of the public will be able to see plans for Inverurie’s Health and Care Hub, based at Inverurie Hospital, at a Public Drop-in Session in the town next month.
A chance to view plans and meet members of the Project and Design Team will take place at the Acorn Centre, Inverurie on Wednesday, November 12, from 11am to 6pm.
Under the agreement for the new health facility in Inverurie, agreed in principle in October last year, the hospital site will include General Practice accommodation, a Community Maternity Unit, Dental Unit, and a Diagnostic and Treatment Suite including X-ray facility.
The Inverurie Hospital site was chosen as the preferred location for the new Health and Care Hub, following a meeting with relevant parties in August this year.
The new facility will be subject to approval by the Board of NHS Grampian, The Capital Investment Group, Scottish Government Health and Social Care Directorate and also planning consent by Aberdeenshire Council.
It is hoped that new facility will be open in the Autumn of 2017.
