The North-east of Scotland’s only dedicated family magazine, Raring2go!, has added two new members to its strong team.
Owned and run by Victoria Withy and based in Inverurie, Raring2go! magazine celebrated its 7th Birthday on June 1 this year.
Kelly Wilson, a journalist and mum of two boys living in Kintore, began working with Victoria on the Summer issue of the popular magazine. Kelly says: “I’ve always enjoyed reading the magazine and now it’s great to be a part of making it happen. It’s a fantastic way to be able to work while having a young family. I’m thoroughly enjoying being part of the Raring2go! Team.”
Emma Williams, a business development specialist and a mum to one small boy, lives in Aberdeen’s West End joined the Raring2go! team last month. Emma says: “I am absolutely delighted to be part of Raring2go!. It’s great to be part of such a motivated team who are very driven to help local businesses succeed. It’s in our interest, if they succeed so do we!” She adds: “I love being very up-to- date with all the latest family events, places to go things to do and buy, which is great news for my son. Perhaps one of the best perks of the job is indulging the inner child which I did recently at The Scottish Kids Show!”
Victoria says: “I am delighted to welcome Emma and Kelly to Raring2go!. This month is the start of my eighth year running Raring2go! in Aberdeen City and Shire and the magazine continues to not only provide local families with information on what to do, where to go and shop, eat, stay and play in the local area, but helps local businesses get their messages out into the market.”
