Ellon Gala attracted large crowds to a sun-drenched Gordon Park on Sunday.

The popular annual attraction was organised by Ellon and District Round Table and the Ladies Circle.

There was something for everyone on a glorious summer day including horse and pony rides, football and netball tournaments, Ellon Pipe Band, Fire Brigade display, stalls, carnival rides and BBQ.

More than £2000 was raised, which will go to
local causes.

Round Table chairman and gala organiser Russell Young said: “We were fortunate again this year to have a bumper crowd on a glorious summer day.

“After all the running costs, well over £2000 was raised on the day which will be put back into the community towards providing further events for Ellon, and be distributed to local groups and charity
organisations.

“A big thank you to all the people of Ellon for coming out and making it another great
gala day.”
