The ANM Group has honoured four members of staff who have a total of 160-years’ service between them.
Allan Taylor has 50-years’ service having joined as a trainee in 1962. In 1967 he became a junior auctioneer and later became a manager.
Michael Delday, who was unable to attend, has worked for the mart for 40-years having started at an office boy. Another 40-years recipient was Iain McKenzie, who works in the Elgin Auction Centre and regularly clerks at the Thainstone Friday store cattle sales or the Saturday machinery sales.
Thainstone yardsman Colin Jamieson has completed 30-years’ service since joining Kittybrewster Mart straight from school.
There was also a special presentation to Iain Clark, the North-east head of agri-business for the Clydesdale Bank, who is retiring after 25-years with the bank.
