Left to right, Archie Andrade, Sean Dickie, Charlie Grasham and Agata Clark start work on the Ellon Academy S2 archive project.

PUPILS at Ellon Academy are embarking on a project to bring archive of the old school to the new building.

S2 youngsters are looking for memories and photographs from former teachers and pupils they can bring together in a historical record to take to Cromleybank.

As part of the “Bringing the Archives to Life” project, they would also welcome any old magazines or items from the old school building.

People are being invited to two sessions next month at Ellon Library when pupils will ask questions about their school memories.

They will be held on Monday (March 4) and again on Monday, March 18, from 2-3pm. Anyone wanting further information can contact Jan Murdoch, network librarian, on 01358 720715.
