An Ellon company has given a boost to an Aberdeen charity.

Experts at ABRRAS Ltd - a management, training and consultancy firm - are providing Glencraft with free consultancy over the next 12 months.

The Ellon firm will supply health, safety and environment consultancy and training to Glencraft.

The long-established charity manufactures and supplies high-quality mattresses, divans and furniture from its Aberdeen base to customers across Scotland.

It provides secure employment and training for blind, partially sighted and disabled people from the local area.

Glencraft general manager, Carl Hodson, said: “This helps not only keep the business on a correct path, but it also underlines our commitment to our core values. The training provided will also help develop our staff on both a business and a personal level.”

ABRRAS commercial director, Cheryl Jones, said “As a local business, we are delighted to be supporting another local enterprise. The staff at Glencraft have really developed over the past few months and approach their training with enthusiasm.”
