Councillor welcomes action by Scottish Water at Foveran

ELLON and District councillor Rob Merson has welcomed work currently being undertaken by Scottish Water to improve the water pressure serving a number of households in Foveran.

Commenting on the development, Cllr. Merson remarked:“I took this matter up with the Chief Executive of Scottish Water some time ago, following an approach by a number of constituents, and was delighted when the work was approved for implementation over the summer.

“The increase in water pressure means that these households will shortly be in a position to enjoy a much-improved service, and should be able to use a far wider range of household fixtures, central heating boilers and appliances than was previously able to be operated.”
