Councillor welcomes Ellon paths adoption

AN ELLON councillor has welcomed Formartine Area Committee’s decision to adopt a number of paths in the town at Tuesday’s meeting.

Cllr Gillian Owen has been campaigning for improvements to be made to paths in Ellon of dubious ownership, including one particularly badly maintained path near Brodero Place.

She told the Times: “There are still issues with Brodero which prevented its adoption - however, the other paths are in a good state of repair and won’t cost much to improve and maintain.”
