THE current Art Exhibition at the Acorn Centre, Inverurie features the work of Jennifer Shorrocks.

Jennifer is influenced by the work of John Piper, a commissioned war artist during World War Two, particularly his deep emotions regarding the war, his sense of loss and atmosphere.

Jennifer has exhibited at Kinloss, Manchester Cathedral and also on-line.

Jennifer says she loves to travel to new places for inspiration for her art.

When not focussing on her art, Jennifer likes to spend time with her family and friends and gardening, particularly growing her own fruit and vegetables.

Jennifers art work will be on display throughout the month of April.

If you are interested in finding out more and also which months are available please contact the Gallery Co-ordinator, Liz Young via admin@theacorncentre.org
