Peterhead’s lifeboat crew rescued a missing person from the waters near Slains Castle this morning (Thursday).

The ‘Frank & Anne Wilkinson’ was launched at 2am on Thursday, April3, and at around 3.15am the crew and police found and recovered the person safely.

The Relief Tamar Lifeboat was then stood down and returned to harbour.

Peterhead Lifeboat is always interested to hear from anyone wishing to join the fund raising team, and the crew.
