Newburgh car thefts

THOUSANDS of pounds worth of property has been stolen in a series of thefts in Newburgh.

Five cars around Inch Road and Main Street had property worth a high three-figure sum taken. In addition, property worth a four-figure sum was stolen from an insecure shed at a property on Main Street, and an insecure garage in Eider Road was targeted for golf clubs and equipment worth a four-figure sum. The crimes occurred between Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17, Anyone with information is asked to contact Grampian Police on 0845 600 5 700.
