ANM Group, have announced the appointment of a new vice chairman and two new executive directors to its board.
Grant Rogerson, general manager of the specialist auctions and estates, and John Gregor, general manager of the group’s livestock and events division, have been influential in the group’s recent turnaround. The pair will be promoted to the board in recognition of their contribution to the firm’s continued development.
The appointments were made at a recent meeting of the group’s board and represent the first executive directors roles within the co-operative. The strategic reshuffle will also see chief executive Pat Machray appointed to the role of vice chairman. The announcements come after the firm announced an increase in its core throughput to £151 million in 2013 from £133 million the previous year, an increase of 16.5 per cent.
Mr Machray said: “The appointments of John and Grant to the board are representative of the pivotal role they have played in assisting me to turn around the fortunes of the group, as well as an acknowledgement of the instrumental role that they will play in its future development.
“Both have been involved with the group over the last two decades and have made valuable contributions to board meetings in recent years. Promoting two individuals with such a breadth of operational experience to positions as executive directors adds balance to the board.”
