Last weekend the community welcomed the seven piece group, Osiligi Warriors from Kenya.
The five men and two women who make up the group, spend around two months in the United Kingdom.
During their travels, the group made a pit stop at Foveran and Belhelvie Church to showcase their talents.
Foveran Church Social Committee member, Christine Fordyce said that the evening went better than expected.
Mrs Fordyce said: “We haven’t had anything like this before. This was a joint venture with Belhelvie Church.
“Rather than having single events we decided to come together and join with Belhelvie.
“Over eighty people attended and we raised around £770 which we gave back to the group.
“The money will help them buy new wells and pumps to provide them with clean water.”
As well as performing their musical talents to the crowds, the group also displayed their beadwork which was available to buy.
